School-aged childcare

While parents and caregivers are at work, our Y provides quality and affordable childcare, giving them a safe and enriching place to learn.

The YMCA after-school and Out of School programs combine academics with play and offers a caring and safe environment. Youth can achieve, feel a sense of belonging, build friendships, and explore new interests! Students receive homework help, a healthy snack, activities, and free time to play under the supervision of trained and certified YMCA staff.

After-school child care sites include:

  • Nutter Fort Primary/Secondary School

  • Norwood Elementary

Out of School Care:

  • Provided at the YMCA during scheduled school closings

  • Registration is separate from After School Care

  • You must turn in registration packet, physical, and immunization records

  • You must register for each individual closing
