Child Watch
More than ever, busy parents need support. When you come to the Y for a class or a workout, your kids want to have fun, too!
We provide a safe, enriching environment where they can build healthy, trusting relationships with other kids and adults.
Child Watch is included with your Y membership.
Our YMCA has a pleasant environment for your children, ages 6 weeks to 8 years old in our Child Watch room. While you work out, your children are cared for by our qualified staff. Child Watch is free for YMCA of North Central WV!
Hours are subject to change at any time.
Parent or guardian must be in the YMCA facility during Child Watch participation.
In order to ensure the safety of all children, staff to child ratio may be enforced during high attendance times.
Covid-19 standards are as follows:
Staff will wear masks.
Children must wash their hands prior to checking into Child Watch and hands will be watched every hour.
Shoes will not be worn in the Child Watch Room. There are cubbies where shoes will be stored during their visit to this area.
The area will be thoroughly cleaned following each session of Child Watch.
