The YMCA supports year-round, healthy youth development for millions of kids and teens across the country. The BEST SUMMER EVER is a seasonal youth development campaign that celebrates all youth development programs taking place during the summer months.

When school’s out, it’s time to relax, decompress, and have fun with friends. Yet taking a break from school does not mean kids’ development is on vacation. Summertime at the Y focuses on the three key drivers of impact that inspire healthy youth development journeys: achievement, relationships, and belonging.

Through Y summer programs, the social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development of all youth are nurtured and celebrated, resulting in the BEST SUMMER EVER.

The purpose of Summer Day Camp at the Harrison County YMCA is to help youth grow spiritually, mentally and physically.  YMCA Day Camps give young people an experience that can last a lifetime and inspire them to continue involvement with the Y for years to come. Our fully licensed summer day camp provides a fun, nurturing experience in a safe, secure environment.
