Youth Development

 The Y’s Areas of Focus

Youth Development

Nurturing the potential of every child and teen.

Healthy Living

Improving the nation’s health and well-being.

Social Responsibility

Giving back and providing support to our neighbors.

School Age Child Care (SACC)

Our licensed School Age Child Care program is open to children ages 5 to 12 years old and provides a safe and structured environment with many activities to keep your child busy and focused.

Day Camp

When school’s out, it’s time to relax, decompress, and have fun with friends. Yet taking a break from school does not mean kids development is on vacation. Summertime at the Y focuses on the three key drivers of impact that inspire healthy youth development journeys: achievement, relationships and belonging.

Home School Physical Education

This class for youth allows home school students to participate in a physical education class setting with their peers. Class will include games, sports, swimming and much more.

Preschool Sports!

Tiny T-Ball

Tiny T-Ball Class is an instructional clinic which teaches preschoolers how to throw, catch, and swing a baseball bat…an introduction to America’s past time!  Play will take place on the basketball court at the Y.  Gloves and/or mitts are not necessary for class.

Bitty Basketball

Bitty Basketball Class is an instructional clinic which teaches preschoolers the basic fundamentals of basketball through fun games and drills while incorporating the principals of good sportsmanship and teamwork.  Play will take place on the basketball court at the Y.

Super Soccer

This parent-child program will focus on fun games and activities to learn skills of the sport.  Class will also provide social interaction with peers in a relaxed, yet structured atmosphere.  Sneakers are required, shin guards are recommended.  Participants are welcome to bring their own soccer ball; balls will be provided.
