Aquatics Group Exercise

The Harrison County YMCA offers a variety of progressive aquatics programs for all ages and fitness levels. Water-based exercise is known to have benefits in restoring motion and strength with minimal impact on the joints.  Below are our current aquatic group exercise classes – all Group Exercise Classes are included at no additional charge with a Y membership.

Current Pool Schedule

Water Aerobics

A low-impact class that utilizes the resistance and buoyancy of the water to tone the muscles while protecting the joints. The class is a combination of cardio, strengthening and toning exercises – great for all ages!

Aqua Zumba

Just add water and shake! Zumba in the water is a whole new level to experience! If you are a fan of the popular Zumba class on land, then the water version is definitely a must-try.
