Aquatics Group Exercise

Here at the Y, we have several water-based activities for all members to enjoy. Water-based activity is easy on the joints, which makes it ideal for both our older members and new members just starting their fitness journeys. Below are our current offerings and our downloadable pool schedule. All Group Exercise classes are included at no additional charge in our memberships.

Water Aerobics

Join our instructors for a complete body workout using the water as resistance. The class is a combination of cardio, strengthening and toning with little impact on the joints.

Aqua Zumba

Just add water and shake! Zumba in the water is a whole new level to experience! If you are a fan of the popular Zumba class on land, then the water version is definitely a must-try.

Arthritis Aquatics Class

The buoyancy of the water makes it a safe, ideal environment for relieving arthritis pain and stiffness. Gentle movements used in the program increase joint flexibility and range of motion, while restoring and/or maintaining muscle strength.
